The online photographs of La Maison de Lune don’t really do it justice. The building retains the character of the old beamed and stone-stepped outbuildings from which it was created, and the interiors are elegant, cool and packed with good taste. The owners have forgotten no detail, from the outside lighting to the great sun loungers to the well-equipped kitchen to the laundry room. The bedrooms/bathrooms are all luxurious and (helpfully I think for parties of guests) of similar size and smartness, with no. 3 up a separate stone exterior staircase with its own little balcony. A great feature is the short and pleasant walk to Bedoin past vineyards and woodland, avoiding the main road. We walked back and forth all the time and it’s so much more eco! We had a lovely time playing boules and sitting about on all the various chairs in sun or under the vine. We didn’t want to come home at all.
