We first visited this part of Provence in the early sixties and fell in love with it at first sight. We have continued to visit almost every year since then initially bringing our children, and subsequently our grand-children, all of whom are equally passionate about the region. For us perhaps it’s greatest attraction is that in fifty years this area has changed little if at all. Arriving here is a step back in time, and consequently lifestyle. This is France at it’s very best, perpetual blue skies combined with wonderful local food, wine and friendly people. To us one of the joys of both Flop House and La Maison de Lune is the utter peace and quiet of their location and yet within a twelve minute walk, or a four minute drive, you are in Bedoin with it’s excellent selection of restaurants, bars, boulangeries, shops and it’s Monday market.
